Empower.

Connect.

Ignite.

At Unite to Ignite, we believe that every woman deserves connection, confidence, and care.
Our services are designed to meet women where they are — in their own neighbourhoods, within their networks, and in the moments they most need support.

In neighbourhoods across North London and Essex, women come together every other week to share, support, and grow. Our peer groups break down isolation, spark friendships, and build resilient local networks. Many women describe these groups as their “safe space”—a place where they are heard, valued, and strengthened.

  • 46 local peer groups meeting every other week
  • Safe, welcoming spaces close to home
  • Friendship, peer support, and shared experiences
  • A trusted network women can rely on

We run regular workshops featuring expert guest speakers and hands-on sessions covering female health, self-care, parenting, mental wellbeing, life skills, and more. Attendees leave with new knowledge, renewed confidence, and strategies they can use in daily life.

  • Sessions on female health, mental wellbeing, and resilience
  • Parenting skills and practical life strategies
  • Guest speakers and expert facilitators
  • Opportunities to learn, ask questions, and build confidence

When life gets overwhelming, our respite services provide vital support. From restorative women’s retreats to thoughtful care packages for new mothers and those experiencing grief, these moments of relief help restore strength and hope.

  • Restorative retreats in safe, supportive environments
  • Day trips and group outings for respite and renewal
  • Care packages for women after birth or during bereavement
  • Practical support that helps women carry on with strength

We don’t just offer help—we connect women with the services they need and amplify their voices. By listening, by referring to adult, family, and mental health services, and by using our platform to spotlight women’s needs, we ensure they are seen and supported.

  • One-to-one guidance and signposting to relevant services
  • Referrals to adult, family, and mental health support
  • A platform for women’s voices to be heard
  • Advocacy that makes services more visible and accessible
